The Editorial Board / Valeriy Reshetnikov

Valeriy Reshetnikov - Dr.Sc. (Physics and Mathematics), Professor, Honored worker of science of the Russian Federation, Director of the Center for visualization and satellite information technology, is a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and International Informatization Academy, a member of the Coucil of the Association on applying management science and IT in regional and city development (ASITUR). He is a member of the Academic board of Research Institute of RAS system research, a member of the Coucil on doctorate and two more Coucils on Ph.D. defense.

Valeriy Reshetnikov is a research advisor and a coordinator of several projects  with international scientific cooperation of RAS. He is a member of International editorial board and a Deputy Editor-in Chief of the journal Software & Systems.

Awards Received:

• A medal “In memory of 850th anniversary of  Moscow” (1997).

• A medal of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences “For services in science and economics development”, 1st degree.

• P.L. Kapitsa silver medal “To the Author of a Scientific Discovery” of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

• Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (2003).

• A “Science crystal” prize from ASEAN Ministers Comitee for implementing innovations to distance learning and open education (2007).

• An order “For high professionalism” from All-Ukrainian Fund of development international dialog (2008).
