Research in molecular genetics are associated with accumulation and storage of a large amount of data obtained during experiments. The collected data are used for further analysis and validation of the study results. Currently global projects and resources for storage and processing genome sequencing results are developing (such as "Human Genome", "1000 Genomes" and others). Such projects provide data and research to a wide range of users. However, every study needs its own storage format and software for processing these data. When people work with living organisms at the laboratory, they need to organize animals registration, considering the norms and standards applicable in this field. The software system for this purpose should be consistent with the research objectives and provide the opportunity to conduct a comprehensive data analysis and reporting. This article describes a software system for recording laboratory animals, which is suitable for research carried out by the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics of the innate immunity of Petrozavodsk State University. In addition to the storing data on animals, the system includes the methods of storage and visualization of the animals’ pedigree that allows tracking changes in animal’s genotype for several generations. The proposed system allows analyzing animal survival and making statistical processing of data genotyping. This program provides a record of all laboratory animals involved in the experiment, the animal ancestors and descendant’s record. It also provides the animal genetic data basic statistical processing possibility and contains various reference books and reports, a user-friendly interface. Currently, the software system is put into operation. The database contains data on more than 5,000 animals.

32. The concept of development a training aids complex for assimilation of weaponry, military and special equipment [№1 за 2018 год]

The study of the problem of technical support for professional training of military specialists revealed a contradiction between the need to improve the efficiency of assimilating weaponry, military and special equipment and the lack of the required material and technical conditions. This contradiction is caused by existing economic constraints, as well as also the lack of an effective mechanism for optimizing design parameters of training aids. Training aids are complex technical systems, therefore the process of creating such systems depends not only on the constructive properties, but also on the formulated requirements of designation. Thus, it is impossible to solve the problem of investigating the effectiveness of an operation using the measurement method on the target stratum. As a result of analyzing the basic terminology and classifying in the field of a product quality indicators system, the “man-machine” system, training aids, its imperfection is established. It contributes to distortion of target installations during design. Common shortcomings in the process organization include an insufficient volume and quality of activities of ergonomic support and military-economic justification. All this leads to a tendency of reducing the target and economic effect. As there are no unified approaches to the development of training aids, the cost of implementing various versions of an educational information model for training specialists, who carry out their activities in the same type of human-machine systems, may be very different. Thus, the development of scientific and methodological provisions for justification of the system, which implements program-objective principles and measures to achieve the required quality of the activity of human-machine system operators, which also provides operative determination of parameter boundaries of the objects under development at the conceptual stage of research, the creation of an operational information system acquires the status of the problem, the solution of which affects the effectiveness of the development of weaponry, military and special equipment. The directions of solving the problem of organizing the process of developing training aids require the availability of methodological, organizational and technical components. The concept, which is developed in order to increase the effectiveness of the process of creating training tools, is detailed in the paper on the stratum of training aids for the development of Army missile systems.

33. Source code model construction for software defect detection with type systems [№1 за 2018 год]

Quality assurance is an integral part of software development. Software defects are among the few components that can be mitigated using static code analysis. One of the forms of static analysis is static type checking. Most programming languages use type systems to reduce the number of software defects. Unfortunately, type systems of most programming languages are incapable of representing basic safety guaranties against exceptions. To allow extension of existing systems of imperative languages, it is necessary to create a source code model that considers a number of factors, such as an alterable state, pointer aliasing and others. The paper describes a source code model that represents security invariants and allows effective use of extended type systems to locate vulnerable code locations. The proposed solutions of aliasing and alterable state problems are based on using a static single assignment form with applying several rerecording rules. This rules maintain functional equivalence of programs enabling use of principles that are already used for analyzing functional-style programs. The paper considers the notion of linear resource, related problems and possible solutions within the proposed approach. Principles of dependent types indexing are shown by example of a continuous data array. The proposed model extends type system of a given programming language. Construction of such model with extended type system does not require additional code annotations, minimizing labour costs needed to preform analysis on the exist-ing code base.

34. Anomaly prediction in tensioning devices operation of a color coating line of metal under conditions of small number of failures [№1 за 2018 год]

The article presents an anomaly prediction model in tensioning devices operation in a color coating line of metal based on the Random Forest machine-learning algorithm with a minimum of precedents in a training data. The task of the machine-learning algorithm is to predict a normal signal for each motor current using signal values in the current time interval from other motors. Random Forest is used to build models that predict the normal operation of equipment. The model is trained on the data from equipment sensors during its operation. The model is tuned on the data of previous failures of tensioning devices. In order to detect failures, the model analyzes the difference in the readings of the actual and forecast signals at each time point with the selected interval. The article describes the stages of constructing the model, presents the scheme of a color coating line, and gives information on tuning the model in software specially designed to predict anomalies in the operation of tensioners of a color coating line for metal. There is the developed approach that allows implementing the developed forecasting models at an enterprise quickly and effectively. There is a special translator script to re-train the model quickly in R language and convert the model to C# classes (in which the software is developed). The developed model makes it possible to monitor the unit operation effectively and automatically inform a repair unit supervisor in case of anomalies in electric motor operation.

There are several information systems in the information educational space “SSAU school of informatics” including two e-learning systems, which are built on different technologies (one is baseв on LMS Moodle, another is on the virtual world technology). Both systems are designed for studying the same educational content. However, the forms of presentation are different. The systems also have a similar learning course structure: the course content is presented like a tree, the root of the tree is divided into topics, which consist of lections and tests, lections split into paragraphs, each might include pictures; tests include questions with a different number of answer options. The authors have developed software, which allows synchronizing an educational content of two systems, but its usage turned up rather inconvenient. The article presents one of the ways to solve the problem of common using of the educational content by different distance learning systems. It is based on the learning course ontological model. The authors review literature on using ontological models in distance education, offer a learning course ontological model, which is developed using the open-source ontology editor and the Protégé framework for building knowledge bases. Ontologies, which are created in Protégé, can be exported in many different formats, including RDF (RDF Schema), OWL and XML Schema. The paper also shows the operation scheme of the knowledge base service. Implementation of the learning course ontological model and its integration into the information educational space “SSAU school of in-formatics” will help to increase the efficiency of learning course development and using of learning content.

Any information system functions properly if its data model adequately represents real aspects of the subject domain it was developed for. The problem of a correct choice of a data modeling strategy, which will allow representing the information context, is very important. The main point of the article is that data modeling, as well as the choice of a data model, is a key stage in database development. It creates a basis of a conceptual framework with terms to work with a storage system. At the same time, a data model is considered as a concept that in the context of concrete data allows users and developers to consider these data as useful information, which re-flects objects states and their relationships within a concrete subject domain. A concept here is a combination of views based on complete and systematized representations, which allows defining a certain way of understanding or interpretation of any objects, events, processes or phenomena that are of information value. The paper gives an example of a simplified universal data model. It is quite general. It can be supported by many applications and provides the addition of any kind of data without specifying the names of tables or fields associated with the abstractions representing real world objects, which are necessary when a using relational data model. When using universal model, it is possible to input information with an undefined structure beforehand. The changing of structural relations such as “entity-attribute”, “entity-entity” or “relationship-attribute” can be made in a runtime mode.
