The journal is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) on March 3, 2020, registration certificate ПИ № ФС 77 - 77843.
Software & Systems contributes to the synthesis and extension of experience in computer science, software development and application. The journal introduces the works of scientists and specialists from Russia and foreign countries, gives answers to practical questions related to using computer technologies, analyzes trends and predicts the development software and technical means.
Open access policy
Software & Systems fulfils the DOAJ definition of open access.
This means that that all content is freely available without charge to the user or institution. According to Creative Commons «Attribution» 4.0, users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. The journal follows the DOAJ recommendations described in the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing. An open access policy increases citing of our authors’ papers and improves their scientific performance.
Plagiarism policy
The Editorial Board of the journal behaves in accordance with the codes of conduct and international standards established by the Core practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All submitted manuscripts are verified using the automated system "Antiplagiat" (for Russian manuscripts) and Duplichecker (for English manuscripts).
In case illegal borrowing (plagiarism), the Editorial Board suggests that author to eliminate revealed plagiarism. In case of repeated borrowings, the manuscript is rejected.
The aims of the Journal are:
· forming science information environment;
· distributing information about IT scientific researches and developments made by Russian and international scientists and specialists;
· integration of Russian scientists into an international scientific community and sharing experience between world scientists.
The objectives of the Journal are:
· reflecting and promoting research, practice and experimental results of IT scientists and specialists;
· organizing data exchange considering relevant scientific and practical problems;
· developing interaction between Russian and international scientists;
· engaging Russian and international authors who are high-level specialists;
· increasing a citation index;
· adding the Journal to international databases and citation bases.
The Journal is useful for PC users, programmers, design engineers and developers in different areas of human activity.
Since 2007 the Journal has been included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific journals of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) of Russia to publish the principal research results of doctoral (candidate’s) dissertations.
Articles submitted to the journal should not have been published before. The content should be relevant to the Journal subject area.
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal undergo a peer review process. Reviewers are the members of the Editorial Board of the journal Software & Systems. They are famous scientists from Moscow, Taganrog, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Penza, Tver and other cities.
The articles approved by the Editorial Board are published free of charge within a year.
The journal Software & Systems is issued quarterly, the format is 60x84 1/8 (А4), 100 pages minimum, a circulation of 1 000. Subscription is available via the Ural-Press agency (subscription index 70799).
The journal is indexed in the following databases:
Russian Science Citation Index Core (RSCI), White List, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, Znanium.com, Lan, CyberLeninka, IPR Books, EBSCO, CrossRef, WorldCat, ResearchBib.
Metadata is regularly is submitted regularly to the scientific electronic library http://elibrary.ru to the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
