35. Parallel adaptive preconditioner CPR concerning to the flow problem [№3 за 2009 год]

Abstract: The adaptive modification of Constrained Pressure Residual method of preconditioning are considered concerning to the systems that appears from discretization of systems of partial differential equations which describes multicomponent fluid flow in porous media. The numerical experiments using real parallel hydrodynamic simulator on the real oil fields in Western Siberia demonstrated efficiency of the method.

Abstract: In the present paper we consider the library of algorithmic skeletons MaLLBa, a software tool for the resolution of hard combinatorial optimization problems. The efficiency of sequential and parallel heuristic methods of this library is investigated using MAX-SAT problems from the SAT-02 Challenge Set. The merits and demerits of the library are discussed.
