In given article quality of cluster solutions of a method of k-averages in sense of various criteria on a practical example is researched; the received results are compared to results of a method of the «pocket» clusterization offered earlier by the author, the superiority of this method is shown. On an example of one of clusters the practical difference as clusterization on structure of objects of clusters is estimated.

An approach to the creation of adaptive processes on the basis of a commercial platform for workflow-management Windows Workflow Foundation is proposed. This paper is devoted to demonstrate by the example the adaptability of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for formal description of structures of models, offered by cognitive psychologists. This approach is applied to the model of focused attention according to Broadbent’s hypothesis of attention. The paper illustrates that UML model of cognitive phenomenon can then be translated into working software simulator. Resulted data prove the adequacy of synthesized simulator of focused attention to known experimental data.
