The authors suggest a block diagram and hardware implementation of equipment for electromechanical systems (EMS) technical condition diagnostics. EMS include an acquisition unit, encoding unit, a unit that forms a group control signal of EMS technical condition, its transmission to a communication channel and to a receiving unit for the EMS technical condition group control signal, primary processing unit, extraction and neural network analysis units. The main element of EMS diagnosing neural network system hardware facilities is the neural network device, which shows the output response of a decision neural network regarding EMS technical condition. The article proves the feasibility of using neural chips in embedded diagnostics systems of EMS technical condition. At the same time neurocomputer and transputer computing systems are useful when the unit of collection, coding, generation, transmission of EMS technical condition group control signal is in one zone, and the receiving unit of the EMS technical condition group control signal, its primary processing, extraction and neural network analysis is in another zone. Suggested special software for diagnosing EMS states includes software and mathematical modules for preliminary statistical processing of measured EMS parameters arrays, modules for models synthesis, as well as modules for using synthesized models depending on the class of technical condition control tasks. The paper shows a research on the possibility of applying software of neural networks options for diagnosing complex EMS with a given reliability. There are results of this study.

12. The internet, gene pool, genome [№3 за 2015 год]
Author: Osovetsky L.G.
Visitors: 9042
The article discusses the problem of the Internet development and its impact on the gene pool of humanity and individuals. The author considers an analogy of the evolution of the Internet with the evolution of human information genetic system and discusses disadvantages of the Internet using a comparative analysis. He also describes the comparative quantitative data of Internet development and evolution of the human information system. According to the analogy used, further progress of the Internet is not in expanding the functions but in the creation of a strict and effective “immune” system of and information security. Linguistic communication between the members of a limited community (corporation staff) is a result of the need to join forces for controlling and using natural resources by the members of this group and protecting these resources from other groups. The collective benefits in the competition for resources are provided by specific for a small group (corporation staff) and agreed signs (language) for operations and objects, by the need for competition with other groups for control over resources of life. Nowadays information on the Internet and in other media has become one of the most important resources, for a state too. Using the Internet as a medium of information exchange between people must obey the laws of the historical development of these means in human evolution.

The article considers the methods of decision-making support in complex manufacturing machine-building projects management based on analysis of the project’s predicted effectiveness. Predicted effectiveness is evaluated on the basis of goal attainability indexes. Calculation of attainability indexes under uncertainty is made in accordance with the proposed algorithms using the integrated project model. Coefficients of experts’ confidence in the attainability of the initial goals are used as source data. The values of attainability indexes are adjusted during project implementation on the basis of actual values of goal criteria indicators. The authors propose a modified algorithm of goal attainability index calculation. It allows estimating the potential impact on the process of external events. Analyzed events can be associated with various types of logical relations. Their impact on the project goals can have a different degree of influence depending on current stage of this project. The algorithm allows calculating measures of belief and disbelief to the possibility of achieving the goal under the influence of events that represent, respectively, the cumulative positive and cumulative negative impact of external factors on the project. The paper presents the analysis of complex manufacturing projects management problems in which the proposed methods can be used. These methods are implemented as special software of the information-analytical system for decision-making support. The article describes the procedure of applying this system in machine-building enterprises. It also considers an example of practical use of information-analytical system for decision-making support (IASDMS) in the project of creating a traction electrical equipment set of hybrid drive vehicles.

The article describes the means of obtaining numerical values of grain quality parameters of extruded shredded wheat. Extruded production quality depends on grain durability and uniformity. The final product application range can greatly change quality requirements. Granule durability is estimated by a normal voltage impulse, blending and uniformity – by the shear stress impulse arising in the work materials during extruding process. Based on the mathematical model which describes the production technology, special software was developed. It allows calculating technical and economic data (productivity, efficiency, power, pressing time, force operating on working bodies, torque effect, as well as normal and shear stress impulses). Carryed out physical experiments helped to get numerical figures of grain durability, destructibility and an increase of granule volume due to certain kinematic, geometrical and design parameters of an extruder’s screw. A computing experiment with the developed software was carried out using the same parameters. Empirical dependences, which connect indicators of finished goods quality with impulses of normal and shear stress were obtained using the second software appli-cation. Special surface responses were created to improve visualization of the results. The responses graphically display du-rability, destructibility, volume increase in normal and shear stress impulses. Thus, it is possible to predict numerical criteria of finished goods quality making computing experiments (using the first software) and varying a wide data range. It allows creating extrusive equipment with set requirements and characteristics at the outline design stage.

The paper describes the use of an unsupervised learning method based on self-organizing incremental neural networks for the problem of speaker clustering. I uses a set of mel-frequency cepstral coefficients as a user model. This set is obtained by applying a special filter to the sound signal frequency, which was transferred into the mel-frequency scale ("mel is an abbreviation of “melody”). The main difference of this work is the consideration of the dynamics of mel-frequency cepstral coefficients changing, which also contains information about the user. The possibility of new unique users emergence in the system while operating makes it impossible to use the major-ity of neural network classes, because learning on a new data set will lead to malfunction, “forgetting” of prior learn-ing. Neural networks for on-line learning impose a limit on the maximum number of clusters, that is unknown for this problem, and, in general, they require a priori knowledge of the input data (to establish thresholds, etc.) that is difficult to achieve in practice. Self-organizing incremental neural networks allow lifetime learning, that means learning during the operation stage, and do not require any a priori knowledge about the users or their quantity. A dynamic neural net-work structure makes it possible to create an unlimited number of new clusters for new previously unregistered users. Thus, this method allows building a flexible speaker clustering system that adapts itself to the changing input data.

The article discusses the application of the conceptual methods of analysis and modeling in relation to the fi-nancial-economic area. The analysis results of the existing models of financial-economic stability and homeostatic approach allows us to develop a new model for the task of a decision-making support in terms of financial and economic sustainability of a production and trading enterprise. The article shows this model and presents its advantages and application, in particular, a prognostic aspect and the prospect of creating an automated system to support the enterprise management process. The model represents a connected graph in the form of six-pointed star consisting of two triangles, one of which describes the economic, and the second describes a financial component of the enterprise. The components of the model are linked by di-rect, reverse and cross-links, which allows analyzing the current situation and forecasting results of control actions on the components in order to achieve a stable position of the company. The proposed model is new, it has been tested on the exist-ing enterprises. It was proved that the model allows automating the process of management decisions support.

Android has robust system that prevents malware from damage to sensitive data and abusing system resources. The core element of that system is a permission subsystem, which allows restricting access to system resources and private data. Each application requests a permission for correct work and user gives it or cancel installation process. This article describes one of its drawbacks: it is impossible to set optional permissions. The paper also partially considers a modified Android permission subsystem, which allows more flexible approach to set application permissions. There is also a description of a way to integrate existing applications into the modified Android version without sacrificing of flexibility. The approach is based on mocking certain resource for a certain application. Thus, an application deals with a mock resource and can’t understand if this resource is mock or real. On the one hand, this approach allows an application to work with any resource like with a genuine one; on the other hand, it protects sensitive data from unauthorized access. This approach can be used in future Android OS versions to improve application permissions enforcement.

The development of corporate telecommunication networks is connected with provided services list extension and increasing requirements to its quality. The main trend of service development is a significant reducing of service provi-sion active time due to progress in the field of telecommunication technologies. Telecommunication network is developed by an administrative management system in accordance with changing telecommunications services requirements, application conditions and developing communication technologies. Significant quality and quantity changes of a managed object require administrative management system changes. The existing methods of analysis, synthesis and optimization, which are used in solving tasks of administrative management system development, include reengineering of managing and technological ad-ministrative processes. However, these methods are oriented to a wide class of problems and are not adapted to integral reen-gineering of communication services management processes. The article suggests a planning method to solve the substantia-tion problem of management system perspective modernization direction. The method is based on describing management system using eTOM methodology on a technological processes level. Depending on planned changes of a telecommunication network at the level of services, the requirements to the management system are offered to predict. Based on the requirements to administrative management systems capabilities, supporting telecommunication services list, the authors suggested a new approach to choosing perspective modernization directions (a set of processes). This problem can be solved using the algo-rithm of resource allocation optimization on reengineering processes. The result of this method application is a plan (pro-gram) of management system modernization. It determines a set of processes for reengineering, a required resource level and modernization activities.

The article examines the questions of prompt sport competitions drawing and creation of standings by using computer tech-nologies. This process is rather time-consuming if done by hand and with a large number of contestants. The aim of the draw is to disperse the players in different groups so that all groups would have about the same overall rating and at the same time each group would consist of players from different regions. Drawing of the tournaments with only one competitor from each region is not much of a problem. The situa-tion becomes much more complicated when several competitors apply from the same region. In this case the task acquires two criteria. Re-gional factor is necessary to be considered, because it happens often that there are players in the list of participants who potentially have common interests and that can lead to various kinds of unsporting collusions. The article discusses some of traditional and non-traditional methods of drawing and analyzes their capabilities. Snake heuristics was used for automated generation of optimal tournament tables. The algorithm and software is developed on its basis supported by research on sufficiently big number of test cases. According to preliminary es-timates of the competent members of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) jury, the software product meets quality requirements of automatically generated tournament tables and allows reducing their formation time repeatedly.

Application of the method of principal components and the generalized method of principal components to analyze data is not always reasonable, because the moments of necessary order don’t always exist in the analyzed distribution. At the same time, the interest in Levy processes continues to increase due to their numerous applications, but the principal component method is not applicable to the Levy process is. An important feature of the Levy process, which simplifies the analysis, is that the Levy process is completely defined by a complex-valued function of a real argument. It is a characteristic exponent. To identify the Levy process is to find the estimate of the characteristic exponent in the training set. The property of independence and homogeneity of Levy process increments allows using the increment of the process as a learning sample. The article considers the problem of building a neural network model for estimation of the characteristic exponent at a given interval of the argument. To estimate the characteristic exponent of the Levy process the authors propose the stochastic analogue of the adaptive neural network learning algorithm that uses the potential functions of Lanczos. The learning algorithm is tested on a hyperbolic Bandorff-Nilsen distribution. The hyperbolic distribution is a mix of normal laws, which allows generating a training sample with little effort. As a result the neural network has calculated an estimation of the Levy process characteristic exponent with a satisfactory degree of accuracy.
