21. Web service optimization using caching [№1 за 2013 год]

The paper describes a method for accelerating network data transfer through combination of caching, selective compression and encryption and a WAN-accelerator based on this method. The accelerator contains a client part and a server part. It encapsulates the data channel and caches data on the client and server side. Special hashes are used to synchronize cached data on the client and server side. If some data cached on the client side and some data cached on the server side are same, a response will be extracted from client cache and won’t be waited from the server. Data can be quickly and effectively compressed by the methods of selective compression used in the accelerator if necessary. The WAN-accelerator encrypts data to improve data transfer security. WAN-accelerator server part cache asynchronous update helps to cut latency time of a response from a web-service caused by computational complexity and transaction time. Usage of the accelerator can be an effective solution for the problem of client application speed acceleration when a client application requires permanent communication with a web-service. The WAN-accelerator is an independent program module that doesn’t require integration with an existing web-service and its modification. It is transparent for a web-service and a client application. Especially it is useful for an organization that has a host system for data processing and management that contains one or more servers with data access through web-services and many clients on a great distance from them.

22. The evaluation of reliability of the integrated cluster system with the meta-scheduler Gridway [№1 за 2013 год]

The reliability and efficiency of a distributed computing environment mostly depend on the workflow scheduling. Nowadays, the most widely used meta-scheduler is Gridway. In the paper the simulation of this meta-scheduler in the integrated cluster system is considered. The simulation algorithms of the meta-scheduler Gridway are described. The simulation modeling allows to evaluate the efficiency and reliability of the integrated cluster system. The system GPSS World is used as a simulation environment. The model of the meta-scheduler Gridway was described on the special formal language. Next, the text of modeling program on GPSS-language was generated automatically. The computing clusters were considered as nodes of the integrated cluster system which was simulated. The clusters are characterized by different performance and cores count. The integrated cluster systems have complex software and hardware structure. As a result, it is so difficult to find the optimal values of configuration parameters for the used computing schedulers. The simulation modeling tools considered in this paper allow to solve this problem partially and obtain in some cases increase in reliability and efficiency of the integrated cluster system.

23. Creation of databases of meteorological information in the closed control system «Nature–Technogenic» [№1 за 2013 год]

Environmental pollution caused by industrial wastes leads to contaminated precipitation, accumulation of pollutants in soils, ground and surface waters, plants, penetration of harmful substances into the human body and animals. Therefore, the problem of minimizing the amount of pollutants (PS) is relevant. In recent years, significant efforts to create reliable means of control and prevention environment pollution have been made, e.g. Best Available Technical, Critical load, Precautionary principle, «Polluter pays» principle, Sustainable development (ISO 14004-98 EC regulations). Numerous approaches to environment monitoring are followed by administrative authorities’ decisions. However, proposed and used pollutant compensation measures result in open system «Nature–Technogenic» which includes the human factor as an essential and crucial part of the control system. Those control systems of local treatment facilities solve these problems only partially. The article provides information about the development of tools and methods to reduce the level of pollutants in the atmosphere based on the closed control system «Nature–Technogenic» (CCS NT). The objectives and requirements for database (DB) in the CCS NT are set out. DB construction to support meteorological information is described. Further development of the theory and practice of closed control system «Nature–Technogenic» is presented. The basic approach of information support in the construction of CCS NT is given. The automation of the CCCS NT design is taken into consideration. The basic principles and the architecture of the meteorological information DB for CCS NT are introduced.

24. Designing process representation in functionally adapted form for store of the project solutions class [№1 за 2013 год]

The interoperability of distributed and concurrent designing is defined by the representation of CAD systems project solutions. Nowadays solution exchange is performed through standard ISO 10303 STEP format, created in the frames of CALS technology and doesn’t allow modifying solutions. This article describes project solutions extraction capability from design activity, designing object class models formation, as well as store, map and further use of information in the context of the functionally adapted representation. The functionally adapted representation concept allows solution exchange by the other method. In this case, the main thing is the fixation of solution construction procedure (consists of operation chain) in the procedure chain. On the base of procedure chain mini CAD is generated by author’s instrumental environment. Mini CAD is small software application for designing. Mini CAD functionality is determined by required operation set for designed object creation. In this case, the logic and the modify ability of project process is saved inside of selected project operation class.

25. The use of program product for the optimization of the expenses of the enterprise for the protection of labor of the personnel [№1 за 2013 год]

The problems of application software products for optimizing the costs of industrial enterprises in the health and safety of personnel are considered in the article. In last years, despite an increase in the cost of health and safety and the ongoing safety measures, the number of traumatic incidents, occupational diseases are not reduced. It necessitates to find ways to reduce costs while improving the level of pro-tection of the personnel of the enterprise. For this it is necessary to take measures for design of such new workplaces on which safety measures violation is excluded. But, not less important, on operating production for decrease in expenses for labor protection to carry out certification of all workplaces for identification among them with harmful or dangerous working conditions. Realization of these and other measures for improvement of labor protection, safety measures and optimization of expenses and improvement of management by these processes is impossible without ensuring automation of documenting and data processing about traumatism cases, workplaces with harmful working conditions, etc. For the solution of this problem need of use of software product «Certification» for optimization of expenses of the enterprise on personnel labor protection is proved.

26. CUDA technology application for simulation of particles at parallel programming [№1 за 2013 год]

In article the method of simulation of the particles being in interaction, by means of technology of parallel programming of CUDA is considered. The definition оf interaction of particles is considered. The method of discrete elements is considered of the CUDA technology. In a method of discrete elements each particle l is represented as a body which has weight and center coordinates. Particles interact with each other and it is possible to observe system movement as a whole. The threadIdx variable is a three-component vector. Thus transparence is provided in work with such objects as the massif, a matrix or a volume grid is provided. Program realization is considered, the interface connecting all methods and algorithms together is considered.

This article tells us about chosen principle for analysis accumulated information about implementation of the activities of the federal programs in science and technology in order to identify and statistically processes «coherence» logical facts of public contracts information objects. The article describes the basic functionality of the developed information system for analysis coherence of public contracts complexity-structured data. A description of bidirectional graphs using is shown for visualization and visual analysis state orders data. Used algorithms of graph theory and auxiliary software (libraries) for the construction, visualization and analysis of graph lists. Examples of the system settings screen forms, examples of visualization and analysis test data of government contracts on the graph are shown.

In article are considered questions of forecasting the development of industrial enterprises in the conditions of technological and product innovations. Describes features of application of different methods of forecasting in innovation diversification of the industrial enterprises. Author's model of the analytical system of planning of material and technical supply, the situations are considered innovation, the application of methods of forecasting in conditions of innovative change. Considered two main directions of innovative activity of industrial enterprise: application of new technologies in the production process (process innovation); innovations associated with the product (product innovation). The possible strategic decisions in situations, connected with: application-enhancing technologies for the modification of an existing product; adaptation of the product under conditions of functioning of the new market; application of new technologies, allowing to carry out deep modification of the product; the use of new technologies that offer the formed market a new product that represents the interest to consumers; the conclusion of the new market of the new product. It was shown the relationship and interdependence of innovative changes of technologies, products and organization of the sale. Presented the main directions of changes in the functional strategies for the supply of the projected innovative changes. The main parameters of the material-technical supply system, susceptible to change in connection with the innovation of business diversification and, therefore, to be monitored by the specialists for procurement. To the necessity of systematization in the application of various techniques to predict the innovation diversification of the industrial enterprises.

29. Image processing time prediction using determinate methods [№1 за 2013 год]

The article is devoted to the forecast of processing time of images containing objects characterized by random location and irregular shape. The described method of image enhancement and segmentation is aimed at reduction of noise typical for a metallurgical plant. The authors introduce mathematical formulation of algorithms used in the method. They also carried out a computational experiment aimed at estimation of the algorithm operating speed and at finding correlation between that speed and hardware (platform) configuration and image characteristics. The analysis of the experiment results proved that the algorithm operating speed has almost linear relationship with the chosen processor and very little relationship with the RAM capacity. A number of possible trajectories of image processing are also described in the article. Maximum forecast error of the image processing time for different trajectories was 0,5 s. It was found that the most time consuming algorithms (erosion and dilatation) are work faster for low-contrast than for high-contrast images. They are also faster for dark than for light images. To improve the accuracy of the processing time forecast it was offered beforehand to categorize the images by the brightness and contrast level and to carry out statistical analysis for each separate group.

30. The software implementation of a module for hydraulic calculations of two-phase gas-liquid flows [№1 за 2013 год]

The article is dedicated to software implementation of the basic approaches in analyzing two-phase gas-liquid flows in pipelines [1, 2]. The paper examines the internal structure of the developed software module (main classes, their hierarchy and calculation algorithm). It is shown how the software architecture of the module provides flexibility and openness of the product. The integration with well-known Russian software systems «Hydrosystem» and «Safety Valve» (developed by «NTP Truboprovod», Moscow) is also described. This integration has enriched the list of features of these programs by the following two-phase flow calculations: automatic prediction of flow pattern, the (automatical) selection of methods for calculating flow patterns, volumetric gas content, friction losses, local losses, calculating boiling and condensation parameters using a phase transitions search algorithm, calculating heat exchange with the environment (including pipes with thermal insulation), the calculation of flow distribution (for complex network pipelines).
