31. Spatial processing of unsynchronized video sequences based on rectification frames [№1 за 2013 год]

The article presents the process of non-synchronized video sequences correction in stereo vision tasks used to build an accurate stereo pairs for the analysis of data from aerial photographs and satellite images. The problem of stereo-video sequences composition based on non-synchronized video sequences obtained from two uncalibrated video cameras is investigated. We propose the spatio-temporal correction algorithm of stereo-video sequences where temporal processing of video sequences scenes consists of the two-step procedure of motion estimation: an initial motion estimation by comparing blocks and an amended estimate based on invariant moments of Hu and Zernike. The steps of processing stereo pair are presented. The invariant to scale and rotation basic methods of image feature detection and matching are described. The fundamental matrix estimation algorithms based on epipolar geometry and image rectification algorithms representing the transfer of two image planes in a single plane are reviewed. The algorithms of disparity maps construct are described. The article presents the spatial processing scenes of video sequences. The matching algorithm of non-synchronized video frames based on improved selection of feature matching points and robust estimate of the fundamental matrix is introduced. In order to check the obtained algorithm the Middlebury stereo datasets are used. The author developed the software in the language of C++ using the OpenCV library to estimate the algorithms. The experimental results show the comparison of the disparity map accuracy of key points detection algorithms and features estimation of the fundamental matrix. The proposed algorithm outperforms other algorithms by 3–4 % on the accuracy of a disparity map.

32. The use of program product for the optimization of the expenses of the enterprise for the protection of labor of the personnel [№1 за 2013 год]

The problems of application software products for optimizing the costs of industrial enterprises in the health and safety of personnel are considered in the article. In last years, despite an increase in the cost of health and safety and the ongoing safety measures, the number of traumatic incidents, occupational diseases are not reduced. It necessitates to find ways to reduce costs while improving the level of pro-tection of the personnel of the enterprise. For this it is necessary to take measures for design of such new workplaces on which safety measures violation is excluded. But, not less important, on operating production for decrease in expenses for labor protection to carry out certification of all workplaces for identification among them with harmful or dangerous working conditions. Realization of these and other measures for improvement of labor protection, safety measures and optimization of expenses and improvement of management by these processes is impossible without ensuring automation of documenting and data processing about traumatism cases, workplaces with harmful working conditions, etc. For the solution of this problem need of use of software product «Certification» for optimization of expenses of the enterprise on personnel labor protection is proved.

Production efficiency increasing of modern multipurpose computer numerical control (CNC) equipment is considered in the article. The efficiency is achieved due to an automated choice of the cutting mode according to varying production figures. The method of formalized calculation and assessment of the cutting mode according to present efficiency criteria is worked out. The offered numerical schemes and software can generate various cutting modes and choose optimal one according to any given efficiency index. Simulating subsystem of the equipment operation that is able to find and reduce sudden standstills for every engineering procedure of a part construction. The subsystem can also analyse many engineering procedures to choose the best one according to given criteria of the equipment, for optimal cutting mode, nomenclature of cutting tools, planned operation period. The developed software can be useful for engineering to synthesize efficiently cutting modes according to current criteria of industrial planning as well as booking new multipurpose equipment.

34. The system of relay programming control seeking for dynamic objects [№1 за 2013 год]

In the papera method of terminal control problem for dynamic systems with relay actuator solving is considered. Today, there is no general approach to solve the nonlinear dynamic systems control problem. Moreover, the specific type of control function and the fact that it is non-differentiable causes impossibility of using the classic techniques. The proposed approach is based on the reduction of terminal control problem to the extreme problem on the spaces of real variables and integers. For the reduced problem the modified hybrid evolutionary strategies algorithm has been designed. The new problem definition and the proposed algorithm were the basis for the designing general system of programming control for nonlinear dynamic systems seeking in the form of ideal or multilevel relay. The approbation of the investigated technique for satellite on the geostationary orbit control problem is considered.

35. A method for choosing peers in peer-to-peer communications based on network topology [№1 за 2013 год]

The article shows necessity of peering mechanims for transferring multimedia data between nodes of the global netwotk. It discusses the problems of choosing peers for transferring data streams in modern peer-to-peer networks. A new method is introduced which solves this problem using information about the topology of the global network. The article introduces an algorithm for hierarchical node clustering and new methods to use this information for building connections between the nodes of the peer network. Properties of the model of a computer network and peer network for simulation are described. The results of simulation of such peer network based on the proposed method and without it are shown. The data collected during the simulation confirm the efficiency and suitability of the proposed method.

Environmental pollution caused by industrial wastes leads to contaminated precipitation, accumulation of pollutants in soils, ground and surface waters, plants, penetration of harmful substances into the human body and animals. Therefore, the problem of minimizing the amount of pollutants (PS) is relevant. In recent years, significant efforts to create reliable means of control and prevention environment pollution have been made, e.g. Best Available Technical, Critical load, Precautionary principle, «Polluter pays» principle, Sustainable development (ISO 14004-98 EC regulations). Numerous approaches to environment monitoring are followed by administrative authorities’ decisions. However, proposed and used pollutant compensation measures result in open system «Nature–Technogenic» which includes the human factor as an essential and crucial part of the control system. Those control systems of local treatment facilities solve these problems only partially. The article provides information about the development of tools and methods to reduce the level of pollutants in the atmosphere based on the closed control system «Nature–Technogenic» (CCS NT). The objectives and requirements for database (DB) in the CCS NT are set out. DB construction to support meteorological information is described. Further development of the theory and practice of closed control system «Nature–Technogenic» is presented. The basic approach of information support in the construction of CCS NT is given. The automation of the CCCS NT design is taken into consideration. The basic principles and the architecture of the meteorological information DB for CCS NT are introduced.

Software architecture of fuzzy inference subsystem for soft computing optimizer is considered. Proposed architecture is based on segregation of interface of algorithms, interested in active rules, to separate interface. Fuzzy inference algorithm is implemented as a template method; its primitive operations are implemented in concrete realizations of fuzzy inference models and fuzzy rule bases. Algorithm is also configurable by the object which will receive a list of active rules. Performance of soft computing optimizer is demonstrated on the task of intelligent control system for unstable dynamic object. This control system exhibited better robustness, comparing to systems created with other state-of-the-art tools.

38. Building of three-dimensional model in geoinformation system [№1 за 2013 год]

The article describes a method of building of a three-dimensional (3D) model of a medium size area with a transport hub in GIS «MAP2011». 3D model is a volumetric model, which can be built in GIS «Map2011» by using instruments that are based on different presentation of the values of elevation in cells. The matrix of elevations – three-dimensional raster map of an area – contains the information about district relief in the raster form with values of elevation in cells (absolute or relative elevation). TIN-model is constructed on the basis of the three dimensional description of objects. The volumetric model of acceptable quality has been constructed on the basis of multiple (13) raster elevation matrixes of the objects. Construction of a TIN-model required the use of vector maps. The article describes ways to combine use of various instruments, such as digital elevation model (DEM) in the form of an elevation matrix and digital model of engineering objects in the form of a TIN-model.

39. Functional comparison of complex information security systems [№1 за 2013 год]

In our study we define the problem of determining the performance of security systems using index of the first and the second kind errors. To define these criteria, we are given the system value function – a function for which system strives and for which performing this system was created. Real systems have the infinite set of input parameters, so we can not determine them only by defining characteristics of set required. Through the adding new characteristics, we can approximate system designed to system required. It is expedient to introduce into security systems two system value functions: one of them would define the system behavior and another one – the system efficiency function. Using these two functions, we can introduce index of the first and the second kind critical errors. There was given an algorithm of security system design using these characteristics on an example of a Web-security management system. According to this algorithm, the input parameter set of security system at first expands to reduce errors of the first kind and then narrows through the introducing characteristics to reduce errors of the second kind. Additionally, some existing complex Web-security management systems have been compared to each other: German product PHP-IDS and Russian series of programs ReflexionWeb.

40. Multitexturing with shaders [№1 за 2013 год]

Different types of textures and methods for texture visualization are considered. There are described problems of program creating, storing and using of complicated big textures, combined multilayer-tiling textures with subtextures repeated on whole area. Particular attention is given to the problem of the memory volume required for big textures and to the methods for the problem solution. Vertex and pixel shaders are described; ways of applying of shaders for creation and use of program textures are considered; features of Flash shaders are shown. There are demonstrated shader methods for the above mentioned problem for different combinations of input layers of subtextures (tiling subtextures, textures with two layers of subtextures, multilayer textures with tiling subtextures) and suggested the concrete algorithms of such shaders creation and their practical realization on the shader language AGAL in the Flash. At the end of the paper the practical example is demonstrated that shows all the advantages of using of the suggested shader algorithms for economy of the textures memory volumes for tens and hundreds times. Besides the considered algorithms can be applied at other shader technologies, not only in the Flash.
