CAD systems for forging various kinds of forgings using hammers and presses give users the opportunity to correct results obtained in the automatic mode. Thus design results are a set of process variables reflected in a forging pro cess chart. Correction of any of these parameters generally requires the second redesign of the entire process with allowance for previous adjustments. In this sense we talk about controlling the desig process by user. The paper describes the principles of a design process control system in forging CAD systems on the example of press-forging of shafts. In general, all adjustable design parameters and supported control actions are divided into four groups a c-cording to the level of significance: general, global, local and individual. The authors developed a classification system for the adjustable process variables and control actions. They also defined an interrelation of control parameters and control a c-tions between groups as well as within each group. A mathematical logic apparatus is used to describe the control principles of CAD system for press-forging of shafts in the active user dialogue mode. Obtained results allow improving system stability under changing manufacturing conditions. This simplifies its imple-mentation in various enterprises and creates preconditions for developing genetic algorithms of forging technology design, when applied control actions are systematized and automatically used by the system to improve matching algorithms while accumulating design results during system operation.

12. Linear solution for quadratic programming problems [№3 за 2014 год]

The work describes a quadric maximum search method on a polyhedral restrictions set. It is based on solving linear equations systems when their dimension no higher than a number of objective function variables. In the beginning, a quadric matrix is worked reduced to a normal view using orthogonal transformations and scaling. Then, using variables re-placement, the initial problem is reduced to a problem of searching the minimum distance between an unconditional extremum point and a polyhedral restrictions set. Perpendiculars to different dimension polyhedron sides are constructed to measure the distance. The special order of sides search is developed to reduce the number of studied sides. The subject to re-search includes only the sides containing the top which is the closest to an unconditional extremum point and seen from this point. If there is not only one closest top, then the side containing all these tops and the sides of lower dimension having not less than two shared closest tops with the first side are investigated.

There are various applications where there is a critical need to reason about moving objects. V.S. Subramani-an offered and F. Yaman (with D. Nau's participation) developed so-called logic of motion (LOM) that provides the formal language including terms of classical logic and Newtonian mechanics. LOM combines propositional logic, constraint sati s-faction and geometric reasoning. LOM has declarative syntax and semantics based on models, and formaliz es reasoning about planned movement of objects. LOM can naturally describe schemes and plans for moving objects and there is a poss i-bility to predict their further locations. LOM consideres objects as material points in space; thus, they have no structure and characteristics (attributes). However, numerous real applications with modeling of moving objects also require a representa-tion of the structure and characteristics of these objects. Also, they require the description of complex objects in terms of simpler ones. G.S. Plesniewicz offered a project of the system "Binary Model of Knowledge" (BMK) for ontological (co n-ceptual) modelling. BMK contains formal languages for structural and logical specification of objects. This paper shows how to integrate LOM into BMK system. LOM and BMK nicely complement each other in applicability and expressive power. Therefore, we receive a system LOM+BMK for ontological (conceptual) modelling of applications considering moving structured objects behavior. A wide range of applications would benefit from using the system LOM+BMR. An example of air traffic control using LOM+BMK is considered.

The paper suggests a concept of an experimental-analytical method of engineering analysis and optimization of processes of non-uniform materials plastic deformation. The authors have developed a mathematical model to determine fi-bers damage and a fiber composite basis. The offered method considers macro level inhomogeneity, i.e. the certain scheme is applied depending on the type of a composite. The design of the hybrid modeling complex is shown. Basic components are: an Abaqus system, mathematical and operating subsystems and a knowledge base. Python language libraries are used in a mathematical subsystem. It is an alternative to MATLAB packadge. The authors developed an algorithm to solve problems in a hybrid modeling complex. To solve fiber composites quality forecasting problems when compressing there is a program module with Abaqus interface and a subprogram for defining composite damage based on the developed mathematical mo d-el. The article illustrates practical application of a software complex on an example of modeling of Nb -Ti+Cu composite ex-trusion process. There are the results of fiber damage defining based on Johnson-Cook dynamic failure model and the of-fered technique.

There is a class of products considered as a uniform functional element in equipment. Its reliability indicators aren't normalized. The quality of such devices is estimated according to reclamations. The authors suggest assessing technological level of these products reflecting its reliability according to reclamations based on the probabilities potential distribution device. The paper describes the assessment technique of non-failure operation level of such technical products on the example of rotation converters. The offered method allows estimating a technological level of products and efficiency of increasing their reliability quickly and objectively. Thus, uncertainty of the operation environment behavior is considered. Suggested approach doesn't replace examinations methods, but is more objective since it doesn't demand qualified ex-perts involvement. Therefore, the subjective component of product assessment is excluded. Based on this method it is possible to predict and estimate efficiency of actions for ensuring reliability of a product by comparison of its technological level before introduction.

The article describes modeling development scenarios for the Unified Gas Supply System using the "Oil and Gas of Russia" software package. It pays particular attention to detecting potential weak spots in the energy system. They are the facilities that do not have a production capacity reserve. Such facilities can be a cause of energy resource shortage most often. This paper considers a model to assess production capabilities of the Unified Gas Supply System. This model can solve the problem of detecting bottlenecks in the Unified Gas Supply System by providing consumers with gas as needed. The model is also can be used to arrange bottlenecks by the priority steps to minimize energy shortages for a consumer. The paper describes the model as a linear programming problem of finding the maximum flow of minimum cost. The au-thors use the dual assessments device to solve the problem of arranging the bottlenecks by the priority steps to minimize e n-ergy shortages for a consumer using the "Oil and Gas of Russia" software package. The bottlenecks detecting and arranging module performance is demonstrated in the analysis of the possibility to transfer Russian gas transportation system gas dur-ing putting into service the Bovanenkovskoe gasfield in the Yamal Peninsula.

Nowadays it is a challenging task for the Russian Navy construction to develop an information support tech-nology for a ship life cycle management system. At the same time, practically there are tasks to evaluate the efficiency of in-formation support tools and systems in order to justify resources for their development as well as to define their impact on maintaining the ship’s operational readiness at a certain level. The paper explains selection of an efficiency index for the ship life cycle information support technology. The author suggests using the ship system readiness coefficient as such an index. Unlike technical readiness coefficient, it enables to recognise an impact of factors that do not depend on technical decisions made at ship design stage as well as logistics time required for ship readiness recovery. The article gives a conceptual overview of the key system aspects and target factors that influence the information sup-port system features significantly. There are general conclusions about the need to consider a ship life cycle cost as an independent variable when optimiz-ing parameters (technical, administrative and structural) of the design decisions made at different stages of a ship constru c-tion. In addition, the main requirement for the information support system is that these decisions should be justified based on reliable data and adequate software.

The paper presents a new technique for anomaly detection in temporal data. This technique uses Markov chain model to represent a temporal profile of process behavior. The model includes the production rules that specify transition probabilities between process states considering its historical data. Such model has been trained and tested in target process. Therefore, we try to find scarce observations that we consider anomalous. These anomalous observations had the low level of our model support. The model has been tested on Coffee model that is used for benchmarking of anomaly detection tech-niques. The computational experiments showed that this technique can distinguish normal behavior from normal activities in observed process. The value of our technique is the fact that it combines advantages of stochastic and one-class techniques. In this connection such technique can be used in wide range of application areas connected to monitoring and diagnosis of emergency technological situations.
